Is this a good idea or bad idea? would you join such an affiliate program.
Currently my in house affiliate program is paying out $0.75 per free sign up. It's for a new social network. Instead of paying one time sum for a sign up and you only earn $0.75 per each sign up, how would you like to earn up to $5.00 per sign up?
Sometimes i might have to pay $0.75 for someone that joins my social network but then never does anything on it and is inactive.
What if i paid out:
$0.10 per sign up - cookie gets set for 30 days. In the next 30 days you have a potential of making additional $5 for each member you refer.
$0.10 per photo upload/every hour
$0.10 per video upload/every hour
$0.10 per blog post/every hour
$0.10 new forum topic/every hour
Max Limit would be set for $5.00 per user.
This way you can make a lot of money from a user that is active on the site.
Would publishers like this idea? yes no, why? For me i rather pay more for a member that is active on the site than pay $0.75 for someone that joins and then is inactive.
