I present conferences to school educators in various cities across the US and I am considering using Facebook ads to promote the conferences. Does anyone have any experience using Facebook Ads to promote events? Is this a marketing option that I should consider? Thanks.

i have used facebook adds to promote my business in the past. i found it quite usefull because you can narrow down the type of people you want to see your add and there is a lot of people on fb. but i dont know if many people take much notice of the adds at the sides of the pages, i know i dont.ds

Here are some good tips to help in promoting events on FB:
- Ad events app to your page, edit page, update info
- Create your event ? who, what, where
- BE SURE AND UNCHECK ONLY ADMIN CAN POST TO WALL FEATURE!
- Ad an event to timeline & A GREAT IMAGE ? Update Cover Photo, Videos, Blog, Tag Speakers/Celebs.
- PAGE POST THE AD RIGHT BEFORE PLANNED EVENT.
