I sent out 10 or so emails to businesses about getting a Mobile WebSite for there I-Phones. With this email that I sent out I did not receive any traffic or responce from any of them.

It all depend's on the script you used and many other factors.

I've seen people mail 1000's of companies and still only get a 1-5% conversion/call back rate.

You sent an email to 10 of them? and still waiting for a response?. well this is very little data to even analyze. Going by the fact they didn't respond makes it sound more like those crapy lists you got off the internet.

Come on, start BUILDING a list and make sure to get hosted with a good autoresponder service who will guarantee high deliverability
