Double commissions from Overstock.com

Affiliates always like little surprises. It is fantastic when the extra surprise is more money. Overstock.com has just announced they will double commissions. All of us who are Overstock affiliates are probably happy to hear that.

The holiday shopping season is approaching and to get you ready, we're giving you the chance to double your commissions in Q4.

Now through December 31st, 2006, you will receive double commissions on your first $5000 in sales for Overstock.com!

Take advantage of this special commission offer and post our links today. Feel free to send these links to family and friends as well!

You can see that it is just for the for $5000 in sales and is good through December 31, 2006 but it is still a little something extra which some affiliate might not have been expecting.

No strings? It said "giving you the chance" which sounded like a contest.
If it's just straight double commish that's really cool for affiliates.

No, there are no strings. I guess it is like that thing about "opportunity knocks but you must open the door."

They are giving you the chance and you must take advantage of it. If you don't make any sales, then you don't get a commission. If you make sales, they will be doubled on your first $5,000 in sales through December 31, 2006.

But I do agree that they could have used better wording than "giving you the chance," since there are no strings attached and no contest. Just get the sales and they will double the commissions.
