Does Ezinearticles result in duplicate content?

This is something I`ve been wondering about. I`ve been using Ezinearticles with the intention of improving my search result positions. But on Ezinearticles people are free to take my article and republish it on their own site (with a link back to mine). Do search engines consider that to be duplicate content and will my ranking be penalized for that?

Hi Hulk,

In no case your article will be spammed by the search engines. Your article has been recognized by the search portals first and if they later find the same content again in any of the articles, then it is their articles which will be spammed and not yours. So stop worrying about that.
