I've made a joomla based site but not used it for any length of time - I dont really have the use for it. I prefer drupal but only cos I've used it alot more.

Why do you prefer Drupal to Joomla?

like I said I've used drupal a lot more but I suppose I chose it because the site listed lots of code snippets and things to use rather than me googling for hours to find out if its even possible. I like that its really expandable.

I'm quite partial to xoops too - I guess joomlas not for me!

i used joomla, drupalm, mambo, mango, invision-portal, php-nuke, post-nuke, smf-portal, dark-portal, and other...

Now i use a self-programmed cms with self-programmed modules :) i think the opensourced cms'z are bad. too many programmer and coder working on each module...

joomla is great, i use it all the time have quite a few sites based with joomla, i also beleive that google favours Joomla in many ways in terms of seo ( providing you configure joomla correctly)

Wheres the option "I don't use any CMS" in the poll ?

vB fits all my needs.
Its a Forum software, and it can double up as a blog and a CMS too.

Whilst I agree vBulletin has a lot of modifications available to make it look like a CMS, I don't think it is as flexible as Joomla.

PS. I am a user of both vBulletin and Joomla :)
