If you are a directory owner and have parked domains

Is that a good idea to add your parked sites to your directories?

Directory could be General or Niche or Bidding!

What are the pros and cons?
Providing you add to the relevant category based on parked domain keyword?

I have seen many people build parked domains in GoDaddy for the last few years by doing that but a couple of things have chnaged from what I understand that isnt that effctive anymore because most directories will not approve them and the Great name Server that Godaddy was using has changed!!

Anyone else on this???

I am not talking about adding to other directories

If you happened to own directories or just build free directories for this purpose?

Can you add and get something out of it? (Benefit)

like pass PR or give keyword boost in SE traffic?

I don't think you get anything for "parked" domain.

You should put index page on every registered domain with some related text on it. Than it will start accumulating history and may even get some PR eventually.

Parking is a complete waste...

I think he means putting a directory on a parked page.

I would say gof or it, any content is better than none and who knows you may end up with a great directory which could add to the sale.

No, from what I understand he wants to list parked domain in his directory as it was a live website...

I'm not judging that action per say, but it seems kinda spammy to list a
parked domain on a directory. I mean - if I understand this correctly - the
parked domain would have either been "parked" onto another FQDN, or it
would have the default "godaddy or similar" parked splash page - and so how
would that be a benefit to a user, other than that domain owner if an ad is
clicked?

I am only thinking loud + trying to see if this good/bad/worse.

Based on what I read sofar from your posts it is not a good idea.

Thanks for all the input.
