I grew up about an hour and a half from Chicago. I never had the option to not be a Cubs fan. My family, my wife's family, and everyone we know are Cubs fans. It was a great series and a great game.
For those who don't care about baseball, the advertising after the game was about as good as the game. Check out this Nike ad that aired about 5 minutes after the game ended: Nike on Twitter
I watched it on a Stream so I didn't get a chance to see the commercials. BRILLIANT! LOL
I've never been a huge Baseball fan, but have always wanted to get into it. I watch a few games here and there, nothing much... no favorite team really. UNTIL NOW.
And living in Wisconsin I might get some heat for this, but I am definitely a fan of the Cubs after that historical win.
