Conversion lines?

Hey guys,
Some questions arrounds me, Anybody use the ShareASale, I still can't understand conversion lines,how's it work ?
Anybody reach out hands here?

Per ShareASale:
"Conversion lines are an advanced feature that expand the flexibility of your affiliate program. Each conversion line represents a path towards a commission for an affiliate. Conversion lines replace the “Tracking Gap” feature of your program, and their primary function is to determine which affiliate clicks are eligible for commission."

Essentially, it splits the commissions up among all of the affiliates that contributed to the conversion.

ShareASale uses it to divide the conversion among the affiliates that contributed the most to the conversion.
