In the early nineties the email came in to existence at the time when the internet was gaining popularity. Businesses took no time to figure out that this was the best way to reach the customers. It was less expensive and by 1995 email advertisements were more in number than the regular mail.

Email is the daily part of your life and has been around longer than the internet. But its evolution was simple based on technology changes. The email was primarily used to leave a note on another user’s directory. MAILBOX was the first true email system used as early as 1965.
Today, thousands of email addresses are used to send information quickly and affordable in email marketing. In 1972, Ray Tomlin Son paved the way on how an email should be sent and received and even chose the @ sign which denotes a particular destination for an email. This sign became the root of email marketing by opening an email and allowing it to be sent and received by different networks.
