Hello fellow pilchards..

I have a burning question about Alexia toolbar and my website.

With Alexia info, what does it mean when the green arrow says "up" by a certain amount of numbers? does it mean the site has risen by that amount and if so over what period has it risen.. that really is a beginner question eh! :taz:

HI,

The alexa green arrow next to your rank shows that your ranking has increased over a 3 month preiod. The up by number represents how much you ranking has increased since you ranking 3 months ago.

Funky I wouldn't trust alexa all too much. If anything I would suggest getting some kind of Domain watch program from your servers host and this would allow for a more realistic look at your traffic and where it's coming from. Just as a good example have a look here, Related Info for: yoursourceforinfo.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=34

You will see how it shows my visits per user is down 16%

But the truth of the matter is it's actually up. Not even 3 months ago I only have 1.22 unique visits and now I have 4.0


Just don't take this information for granted is all I'm saying but you can base or make assumptions from the alexa data
