Affiliates and Page rank

I am starting to use some affiliate ads on my site.

Which is the best way to link to them using CJ.

1. without passing PR juice to them?
2. without losing SEPRs
3. and in general?

thoughts appreciated as i would rather rank well than gain a few $s in ads.

redsy, most affiliate codes do not pass link juice, they tend to use complex scripts that are passing parameters allover the place so the link codes tends not to be direct text link. I used CJ many many years ago, I would think they have not changed the code.

But take a peak into the code the give you to insert into your page and see of any of it is direct text link that could pass link juice

You should hide them. Just Google for php affiliate link script.
