I would like to ask where article directories bring traffic to our articles. Because some of my articles have traffic in goArticles without promote them. I tried to find if they have any keyword in search engines but nothing at all.

I'm not a big fan of article marketing so may be uninformed or admittedly biased... but my guess is it's other marketers searching for articles on that topic right on the site. (To get ideas, steal ideas, see what others are doing.)
I found that ezinearticles.com is a great article submitter to use and also Even thoe I'm not a big fan of doing articles I found writing short press releases are a great way to market as well.
