What is your favorite song?​

In addition to having fun, we will be trying to get to know each other a little better here in the 5 Star family.

Most people have a favorite song. Often there is an interesting story behind why that is their favorite song.

What is your favorite song? You might tell why, if there is a particular reason and it isn't too personal. You could even play it for us, if you would like.

I have mentioned before that my favorite song in the Star Spangled Banner (The National Anthem of the United States).

I have loved patriotic music since I was a little boy. America the Beautiful is my second favorite.

I like all types of music from hard rock to classical. It is a little difficult to select my favorite song when you get away from the patriotic music.

I said I would like to see 5,000 members by the end of this year. Later I said 6,000 or 7,000 would be great. I even went on to say it would be good to even shot for 10,000.

With that in mind I decided to select a song that is one of my favorites that would be appropriate for some of those membership dreams.

What is Your Favorite American Idol Moment?​

I will probably make a few enemies by saying this. I am not an American Idol Fan. I don't watch the show and have never seen it.

The selection I made as my Favorite American Idol moment isn't my favorite since I've never watched the show. This is one that received a lot of attention. That is how I know about it. This could be the most famous American Idol moment.

Since American Idol has a lot of fans, it is likely that a lot of 5 Star members are fans of the show. What is your favorite American Idol moment? You can tell us what it is. If you have some video of it, that would be even better.

I don't have a clip for the best idol moment but my favorite moments are when people go to the audition and think they have talent and sing like a cat on a hot tin roof and get constructive feedback and then they start arguing with judges. It makes the show worth watching.

I watched a full episode (maybe for the first time ever) the other week. Greg Neufeld (the guy who looked like he was in a lacrosse team) was surprisingly good! Too bad he got cut.
