Word press have made a decision to limit supporter links in pre-made themes and templates so as to avoid sullying their name and reputation.

Supporters such as porn have been banned.

That is good, as it killed phpBB even though they were a PR 10, google no longer allows pagerank or link benefit from phpbb.com

Anyone have full details? ... a good idea in principal, link sponsorship is getting out of hand at sites like DP.
