Advantages include interactivity, time saving and space saving.

Check out the widget above and play with it. (This is a client, I'm not an affiliate)
All I had to do to add it was paste a few lines of code (time saved). It would take pages and pages of my site to show all 900 magazines plus take forever. Now someone can quickly navigate right within the widget to get the category of info they want.
