Which CPC traffic networks are best for direct linking CPA offers of specific niches?

Ok, I might be asking for a lot here, but here it is anyway.

Which CPC traffic networks are best (in general) for direct linking CPA offers of specific niches?

For example: Bing ads work well for “health & beauty” CPA offers, facebook ads work well for “online games” CPA offers etc…

In addition, which CPC traffic networks do not work (in general) for direct linking CPA offers of specific niches?

For example: Bing ads do not convert for “health & beauty” CPA offers, facebook ads do not convert for “online games” CPA offers etc…

I understand that with the right optimization all networks will work for all niches but I’m looking for those combinations that probably will work (or will not work) without hard optimization.
