Macs are Okay but kind of over priced and a bit limited in what you're able to do with them, on the hardware side. Definitely a good choice if you like the OS and can't build one yourself.
Dell makes some pretty good PC's. I prefer to buy everything separate and put it together myself though, you would be surprised how simple it can be with some solid research and maybe a little help from a friend.
I just got a HP Envy laptop. 1tb of storage, 16 g of Ram. invidia video card, it even has a sub woofer. 17 inch screen. Touch screen. Pretty damn happy with it so far.
