where to invest?

I'm in doubt now.. I've made a few sites and now in the process of marketing, where do I need to invest my money and time? In forums or social bookmarking sites?

You should invest on SEO or PPC. Google Adwords or SEO in other ways. Or both of them.

I think at the beginning, PPC would help you to get instant traffic.
And, I think what two you mentioned above are all off-page SEO methods. Right, they are both helpful in your SERP if you could use your keywords tactically. Also, there are many other ways to build backlinks and even direct traffic to your sites. Just search this forum for answers.

2. Paid methods
3. Combination of both methods

4. Thursday - Forum Posts
5. Friday - Video Marketing
6. Saturday - PPC / Yahoo Answer
