Heaps of places buddy. You could set up a web site, create an eBook & sell it on Amazon. You could a build a list of people interested in what you sell.
Build a list is by far the best option in my opinion... Always want to be building lists! =)

The ways of selling your work are limitless.
1. You can create a Fiverr gig on fiverr.com and sell you skill of making digital photos. Elance is also good for that.
2. You can create a portfolio for a single theme - for example: create a portfolio of seasons of the year by taking cool pictures of nature through out the year. you can sell that digitally or find a printing service and sell the physical good like postcards. Amazon is great for that.
3. There are also websites that specialize in selling digital photos of something crazy like close up of grass. Some of websites are istockphoto.com, shutterstock (somebody already mentioned), etc.
These are just some of the ways form the top of my head. If you get creative I am sure you can find more ways of monetizing your skill
