Hi Everyone !! What is the difference between crawling and indexing?

Basically Crawling is a method where robots and spiders of google to crawl keywords, content, alt tag etc in a web page/site but indexing is also a technique which is webpage of website index to google database with the help of google webmaster tool. Basically indexing is a technique of Search Engine Optimization

Crawling - Visiting the page and it's Element.
Indexing - Index the file or Website in Search Engine Directory.
