I run 38 WordPress plugins on all of my blogs, that I consider to
be standard for what I need. What I do is download new plugins to
my hard drive, and run a batch file that copies/updates all those
plugins into my local blogs site plugin folders.

For the specific plugins for specific sites, I simply copy those
one by one.

I then simply FTP those to each site.

I like the idea of creating a folder with the most common plugins. I created my first wordpress last week and it a very cool platform.

Most annoying thing is when some of those plugins getting updated versions every week or so (cformsII for example). Than when you try to upgrade it on your blog it overwrites all settings and you have to customize it all over again...

I've just cut down all my plugins to the bare essentials - I HATE how they add things to your database it annoys me so much!

I am content with the 5-6 basic plugins. they work great for me. I would never want to add any more plugins :) .a happy wordpress user .
