Webmastering in 2009 what does the future hold?

Does any of you experienced webmaster in this forum care to give us a prediction of what the future holds for webmasters in 2009?

Will MSN catch up with Yahoo?
Will google extend its domination of the web?

Google will continue to strengthen it's position. I can't see Yahoo making any significant headway. MSN may grow slightly as more and more people buy new machines with Vista and MSN as default home page.

Other than that, connections will get faster and more people will be getting online more often. However, us webmasters jobs will only get harder as there will be more competition out there competing for those clicks.

The number of new websites and the amount of web optimisation that webmasters carry out will increase at a faster rate than the total number of searches making our jobs much harder.

I agree with your prediction, especially the one about Yahoo still being where it is now and maybe even losing more grounds to MSN and Google.
