url targeting????

I wasn't sure where to post this cuz it's both a ppc question and a keyword seo ?!

I'm setting up a keyword targeted campaign over @ adonnetwork.com (great guys there)! The account manager asked me what urls would I like to target??? He said it was similar to keyword search??? I've never heard of this at all! ???? Explain, if anyone knows in detail please!!! ????

Its like bidding on kw's but urls.

you pick the URL's you that you would want to display your ad on.
the deeper the targeted url the more targeted you will be.

lets say you had "google.com" as a target. well your ringtone ad would display as soon as someone goes to google home page.
its not really smart doing it that way.

you would want to get something music url and maybe even target "musicsite.com/ringtones"
and "site.com" is one of many combo.
www.site .com
http:// site .com
http:// www. site .com
i mean your bidding on these targets.
but think deeper targets. find pages on sites that is relevant to your ad. as it converts better.

you can use this.
cpvden.com/members/tools/quantcast/index.php
enter a kw and you will get a list of domains.
but its the broad domain. next you will have to find what page of the domain works for ya. for better targeting.

also K is working on launching hos own network of tools.
Can't wait to see them.

All tools are paid tools you can find at forums like affplaybook etc. The one above is free though. CPAFix tools are awaited!
