Targeting multiple Geo,s

Hi there
I am going to promote a sweepstake offer on Rollers Ads in a Pop Under ads format.
I am thinking about targeting multiple Geo,s using a CPM pricing model for more exposure. Is that a good idea?
Or should i target One Geo at first?
Keep in mind initially its a going to be a test so are multiple GEO,s later easy to optimise and scale?

I've never used Roller Ads myself, do they offer a RON option you could try that might help you figure out which geos would make the best target?

Also, does the offer allow only for certain countries for you to run the ad in?

  1. Group like bid groups of GEO's.
  2. Be able to sort and filter your bid groups in your tracker.
  3. You may need to sort the GEO's in your funnel process also.
The main problem for me when I have tried this is grouping close bid GEO's.
RON traffic gets real expensive because of traffic productivity issues.

Yes its allowing some 42 countries.
Better check what geo is performing best for that vertical and push it on those first and check results. Do a/b testing and see what are working best for you!

Testing multiple GEOs can give you broad exposure, but I’d recommend first starting with one or two key regions. This way, you can analyze performance, tweak creatives, and optimize before scaling. Different GEOs have varying ad engagement, conversion rates, and user behaviors, so focusing on a few initially will help you avoid burning your budget too fast. I made a similar mistake while researching developing a mobile banking application, trying to cover too much at once made tracking data tricky.

Start with one geo first, especially for testing. Multi-geo testing burns through budget fast when you don't know what's working yet.

Once you find a winning geo + creative combo, THEN you can expand. But here's the thing most people miss: not all Tier 1 geos perform the same. US crushes it on sweeps, CA is decent, UK/AU can be hit or miss depending on the offer.

Also, if you do scale to multiple geos later, send each geo to a localized version of your lander if possible. Same offer, same creative, but routing US traffic to one page and CA traffic to a slightly different version can boost conversions 20-30%. People notice when your page says "Enter to win!" but uses UK spelling or currency symbols they don't recognize.

Start narrow, prove it works, then expand with data.

Start with one GEO for testing to track performance and optimise easily. Use a small CPM budget for exposure. Once it converts well, you can scale to multiple GEOs, testing many at first can waste money and make optimisation harder.
