For content/forum sites, right? And, since GoDoogle said it's OK to disclose, what type of CP do you see on that particular network? Are you aware of any PORN sites, via that network?

Paul <---Knows answer before he asks

I've seen those network ads on various PORN sites throughout the net. They probably don't even know their publishers are posting the ads on adult related pages. But advertisers talk and I've seen plenty of mainstream ads shown on adult related pages.

I guess I'm talking from an advertiser standpoint. As a publisher, go for it. I keep forgetin'.

I don't want any of my stuff ending up on a pr0n site or vice vers. I'll pass in the interest of safety and maintaining family friendly.

I know a lot of people who use Target First, And i use there sites a lot and never have i seen a single P0rn ad, It does it on what content you have :armada34:

I don't think I made myself clear.

There are publishers (website owners) and there are advertisers (dudes/dudettes who advertise on those websites). I've seen the advertisements on adult related content, and that FACT has been posted on more than one Internet MSG board. I'm not implying, AT ALL, that they show adult related ads.

Ok, whew..

Paul,
I am aware that I am being naive, if the adverts are being displayed on adult sites, what is the issue? So long as adult content is not being displayed on content sites then what is the problem? Or are you saying that either:
a) the links for those adult sites may also be displayed OR
b) the fact that those links are displayed on adult content related sites means that they are black/grey listed adverts and therefore may be detrimental to site owners who display them?

Lewis

The advertisements (mainstream - legit) are showing up on adult related sites. This shouldn't be a problem for ethical webmasters.

Hello Everyone:

Thank you for having this thread.

I just wanted to clear up a few key points that have been in this discussion.

We ABSOLUTELY do not allow any pron sites in our network. And if we everfind publishers that are serving to adult sites, we immeadiately close their account.

Also, we pay every 30 days once your account reaches $50. Some people on this list have already recieved payments from us.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Tom,

Thanks for stopping by.

Do you know how the rouge webmasters fool you and the advertiser into believing the ad is being viewed on a non-adult related website? I could show you a few who are duping your right now, at this very moment, but I don’t have the time to surf porn all day. LOL

Another company, AdBrite, which sells contextual ads, IMHO, doesn't really care where the ads show up, or perhaps it's not against their TOS.

I just don’t see how I’m going to turn a positive ROI with my ads showing up on a page with a naked lady, front and center. I call those clicks, “Charity Clicksâ€Â, as the surfer is simply trying to help the webmaster turn a buck, so the surfer can continue to look at free naked ladies.

I might ad, Google Adsense ads also show up on some of these sites, so you're not alone in fighting this, IMHO, fraud.

Yes... I do understand that can be done. I can also tell you that when we catch these people (and we always do). We turn off their account right away.

If you find any, please feel free to email me.

Thanks for your interest.

Thanks for your reply, Tom.

What about the advertisers? Do you refund them for clicks on the non-compliant sites?

Absolutely!

We are also active against click fraud and have lots of technical measures in place that make us aware of strange occurances.
