So, I know there are many newbies on the Fix and we keep saying "Meet us @..." but Im guessing some haven´t had prior experience in these events and might like some insight. Below I also give small tips on how to handle the events.
Affiliate Summit West (JAN 15 - 17, 2017 Vegas: very interesting, targeted conference, catering to both advanced and newbies in affiliate marketing. If your a newbie try to attend as many sessions as you can to learn from the top experts who have grown into the professionales they are today through their experience in AM.
InterNext (JAN 14 - 17, 2017 Vegas): Similar interest as ASW, however focused more on the adult vertical. These two events are quite literally next to each other.

General words of advice of events xD :
- Some events have official networking activties a part from the show room, such as the Meet Markt in ASW, and its recommendable to attend. Lots of knowledge exchanged @ these activities, its like "speed networking"
- Conference Sessions: sometimes overlooked but seriously, they not only provide motivation, which sometimes, lets face it, in AM we need it, specially as a newbie, but they actually give you detailed insight and strategic opportunities.
- Setup meetings in advance: once there, you can change times and even locations, but, setup a meeting first so that you have a direct contact during the event. Let them know what you wish to talk about or are interested in, specially if you are going to meet with a network, this allows them to prepare a plan for your specific need before hand, you can then discuss it in person during the event.
- The parties: Excellent, great networking, BUT do consider that, even before the conference begins, there are "pre-starter" parties and then events every night, from cocktails, dinners to full on parties ... Consider pacing yourself to make the most of everyday at the conference... then apply it back at home... and finally make that top revenue that will let you party all year round with friends, family and partners xD
