I was reading on one of the earlier posts about how a sitemap is good for SEO. Does anyone have any tips about what makes a good sitemap?

If we're talking about an XML sitemap then you should first of all validate your sitemap then try keeping it clean ( don't add duplicate links )

xml-sitemaps.com should be able to help you - it can spider your site and give you an example sitemap xml file.
