SEO genius wanted....

I hope I'm not abusing the forum with this request (please let me know if I am) but my company is in need of an SEO for an e-commerce site launching in January. Could anyone tell me where to hook up with some prospective Optimzing geniuses? We want an individual rather than an large agency and are offering fee + profit share for the role.
