I have a hostgator account and my domain i set it up with is not the domain that i want for my website. How do i go about working around this? I had bought another domain but have no idea how to set it up...
yeah i've approached them with this question and all they tell me is to set it up as a sub domain, and i'm kinda stuck with directing this domain to a separate website of it own? i dont know if that makes sense..but for some reason im not getting no where...
You should be able to set up the sub domain as an add on. If you want to add wordpress to it, go the cpanel, then click on add fantastico, then click on WP and then choose the domain. If that is what you want to do.
HG is awesome at support so call them if you still need help.
