We are thinking about planning an event to invite MBA school students to offer business advice to SMEs owners and business professionals. We would like to conduct a survey to see if this is appealing to people. If you are interested, please help me to do the survey. It will take you less than 3 minutes.
Why are we doing this?
We think this is a tough time for every business. In these difficult times , a good business strategy is needed to beat the odds. However, SME's just cannot afford expensive consulting companies to do this.
I was an MBA student at Imperial college. I think MBA students are very capable of giving SME's good advice. They are eager to practice what they have learned, they all have working experience in different industries and their approaches are even more innovative than the consultancy films. We believe their knowledge can be very beneficial to SMEs.
How is it going to work:
We are planning to organise a contest. We will invite the publc's favourite schools to join the contest. Every business school can form a team to offer business advice in different subjects (marketing, management, strategy, finance.....) via online chat (text chat, audio chat, video chat) or e-mail. After every advisory session, you will be requested to mark the service and your mark will decide which school wins the contest.
What is our role? Are we earning money out of this?
We are a web start-up, MinuteBox. We offer an eBay style marketplace for online expert support and advice. On eBay, you sell stuff you do not need. On MinuteBox, you can sell the "Spare time" you do not need. We want to offer users an easy and flexible way to utilise their skills and knowledge. People who need your skills or knowledge can consult you via chat or e-mail.
We do not earn any money from the contest. Yes, we would like to promote our service using this event and we believe this contest can create benefits for all participants. All of our profits from this event will be awarded to the winner of the contest.
What is this survey for?
We would like to know public's interest in this event. With solid numbers , we can then approach your favourite business schools to join the competition.
