Picking the best SEO'd Niche

I have noticed a few niches with 60k+ of monthly visitors however top sites don't even get 1k+ a month. How can this be(are they image searches)? and how to figure it out?

Hi man, can you please share how did you come up with 60k+ of monthly visitors. By visitors you mean searches? Sorry but I can't really understand what you mean...
