You can search on Youtube.. There are a lot of Tutorials on Photoshop, if your looking for a Free course..

I am not sure if this will be useful to you at all but I figured I would mention it.

Since I personally suck at Photoshop/GIMP.......I will generally 'cheat' when it comes to making a banner and use http://www.bannerfans.com
