:) Hello all, I'm affiliate marketing newby, and a recently retired babyboomer. I'm going to do some affiliate stuff, as I figure it all out, NEED HELP, and as a boomer I'm marketing to my age group. I guess that is limiting my market, but alot of us want to do something different, and I guess I'm a test market to see if indeed you can teach an old girl new tricks. It'll be fun and I'm sure frustrating to find out.

Hi affiliateboomer,

Welcome to 5 Star from one boomer to another. The boomer market is actually a good one but instead of as you mentioned being limiting, it's actually the opposite and is too big and competitive of a market for a newbie. Boomers as a demographic have money to spend and there are lots of them, therefore there are lots of companies and affiliates targeting them.

It's a niche but a BIG niche, so if you can narrow it down or focus on some sub-niche of boomers you may have an easier time getting started.

Check out the sections Larwee pointed out and holler if you have any questions. We?re happy to help.
