It's sort of an inside joke. Linda is still a client, but I used to do all the PR for PartnerCentric and
worked with her on a daily basis. People always got us confused. Can't tell you how many times
I had to say, no it's the "other" Linda.

Chris sounds really nice and I liked his style and what he had to say!

They talked quite a bit about social marketing as it relates to AM.
Linda made some good points about the fact that the consumer is in charge
and if all they want to do is buy their friends virtual beers and show each other funny pics,
they probably arent in a buying mode - so AM may not work very well in some situations.

Totally agree and the affiliates that are trying to spam and mass market at the
big general social networks probably won't do well. And as always those guys ruin
it for the honest marketers out there.

But I think joining smaller highly focused networks that match your niche has lots of promise.
Like a Mom that has a Mom site, joining a Mom network and building her center of influence
with other Moms and occasionally blogging about her favorite baby products, etc.

<strong>Rachel Honoway, Vice President of Marketing for AffiliateClassroom</strong>, is also planning to join Linda for a special broadcast on Feb. 21. Honoway is well known for her experience in the affiliate marketing space dating back to 1997 when she started up as an intern for KowaBunga! Technologies. She later ascended to the spot as KowaBunga?s Director of Marketing, VP of Sales and Marketing, and General VP. Shortly after KowaBunga! Technologies was acquired by Think Partnership Inc., Rachel was promoted to VP of Marketing at Think Partnership, and later as VP of Marketing and Client Services.
