Hey Guys!

I purchased a site off of Flippa.com, the guy I purchased the site from claimed he was making $20-40/day with CPATrend. I purchased the website, and he took off without helping me out like he said. Now I'm here, and need some help.

Website intimedeals com

I have hosting on BlueHost, and an account with Peerfly.

I need to know how to add a affiliate link to my Intimedeals.com website... What is the best way to get all of this setup.

Zach,

How much did you pay for it, if you don't mind sharing?

The website looks like a simple landing page. It also redirect me to an empty domain after page completes...

For that money it should compensate with free traffic. How many visitors do you get from pinterest currently, I assume he gave you the analytics accounts as well.

Damn $1000 - to me it looks like an iframed offer.

Either that or a simple LP - but i think it's an offer.

Either way i'd ask Flippa to refund as I could create you this for $50.

IF the site gets traffic thats where the money is.....but do you have analytics?

First let's determine if it has traffic - then we can look at sorting it out!

Ye checking analytics is important here. Did guy prooved that source of his traffic cuz it's easy to generate millions of views that are from porn sites :p and make it look on flippa like good deal.

Johnny

That's a rule that everyone should know before buying on Flippa.

DO NOT BUY SOMETHING IF THEY DON'T LET YOU CHECK THEIR ANALYTICS AND EARNING STATS FIRST.

Screenshots can easily be faked, videos as well. Ask for a limited account so you can check where the traffic comes from and the earnings.

If you follow this, you won't get scammed :)

The only thing I checked guys is the Alexa rating. Which was really high... I thought that would be good enough. Any idea where I can start? I'm just lost.

Well, I think you got scammed. I checked the domain on Alexa and indeed it has a short and huge bump in traffic, but I'm pretty sure it's fake...it didn't last for even a week, it was obvious meant to increase Alexa rank for the purchase.

I don't think you can do too much, but you should contact Flippa and let them know about this guy, If it hasn't passed 90 days(i think) on Paypal, you can ask your money back.

With that 1k you can get some profitable campaigns on PPC and do really well.

Its somthing I'm willing to do. But I need the support since I'm new with this. Do you know anyone or yourself who could help me out and get started?

Contact Flippa and tell them about the sale and how you'd like to apply for a refund...once you have the money back we can talk about where to invest it!

Flippa and my bank couldn't do anything about the money...

I'm willing to invest more again of someone can help me out, or lead me in the right direction. Heck, I have $100 in google Adwords, and a website ready to go... I also just lost my job so I have a lot of time to spend on this.

Damn that's a shame man! I would suggest reading over threads inside The Dojo and understanding affiliate marketing and CPA before you jump in the deep end...then pick a method or traffic source that suits and stick to it!

I've been noticing that CPAFIX has a lot more info then the Dojo,.. Maybe I'm not looking in the right areas? Could you help me out by sending me a a few good links for articles on the Dojo that I should read up on?

Thanks! =)

Oliver's talking about the guides in The Dojo main area. Just scroll down and you'll find several guides to making money online. Read through them, pick a method you want to try, and come back here if you have any specific questions about it.

I'm going to be completely blunt here: Asking people to find moneymaking guides for you is entirely the wrong attitude to have in this business. If you want to be successful at affiliate marketing, then you're going to need to learn how to do your own research and teach yourself the skills you need to succeed. Even a website that generates only $20-40 a day still requires a lot of research into keywords and niches. That's something you're going to have to learn how to do yourself because nobody is going to do that for you unless you pay them (and even then, you need some knowledge of what you're paying for or you'll end up getting scammed). Learning those kind of skills starts with learning how to research the answers to any questions you may have.

The Dojo/CPAFix is wonderful place to go when you have a question about IM that you can't easily find an answer for. It's not a place, however, to ask people to do your work for you. People here can give you good answers and guide your decisions, but they're not going to hold your hand through every little step and do all of your research for you. At least not for free. At some point, you need to step up and take action yourself. Repeatedly posting, "Guys, I need help" (I haven't noticed a single "please" from you in this thread) is not going to lead to success.

I apologize if this is overly harsh as I'm honestly not trying to troll or start an argument. However, I truly believe that adopting the right "can-do" attitude is absolutely essential to success in IM and felt that this was necessary to say.

I second this based on my experience. I'm not sure if I can say this here, if not, K please delete: I suggest you buy "google sniper", go to the sales page, then close the page, then it will prompt you an offer to buy it for only $1. Download all the videos and files and then cancel your subscription if there's any. You will learn a lot!
