Mad Mimi is great email marketing service if you are newbie and want to start email marketing for free. You can create beautiful email template by using Mad Mimi. As far, I know the conversion rate of Mad Mimi Also high. You can also able to upload your won list and send emails. For free subscription you can upload 100 contacts and there are no limitation for sending emails. It's best for sending the newsletter. I want to know your opinion as well.

For new letters I use MailChimp. Their free level includes 2000 contacts and 12,000 emails.

Mandrill is great for transcriptional emails.

MadMimi seems to be priced high. Have you sent any emails out or checked and compared all of their features with the competitors like GetResponse, etc.?

I am using free subscription of Mad Mimi. I use to send the newsletter but haven't try any email that containing affiliate offer. Conversion rate is high for the newsletter. I get average 60 to 70% open rate and 30-40% CTR rate for driving traffic to my site.

They aren't favorable to affiliate mailings. However, they are just right for news letters.
