Hi guys, I'm new to cpa affiliate marketing. I'm with AdCombo. I want to post my cpa affiliate link in my emails. Do I need to use a postback URL to do this? I'm only using email marketing as a traffic source. I'm not using push ads, google ads etc.

Thanks

I guess yes, as you would need to know your progress!

Email does not 'post back' you mean track opens or events like a clicked ink?

Tracking opens is problematic as Gmail (others) are blocking images and pixels (type trackers).
Any link clicks could be counted with a tracker, Google-analytics or your server logs.
Normally it is a bad idea to direct link to your domain or an affiliate network from the email because of spam issues.
Most people use a tracking domain of some sort.
