I have blown my turbo/engine

Today, while driving back from Blackburn, I blew either the turbo seals, or the piston oil rings on my Saab :(

The ironic thing is though, that I was going to view a replacement car (which I bought) I am TOTALLY gutted as I loved my Saab and was going to keep her as a spare car for when I fancied getting back behind the wheel of a beast :(

My new car is Ok, it is a new 607 2.2 HDI, but it is not a patch on the Saab when it comes to cabin, speed, handling etc. Damn shame Saab got bought out by GM and screwed up their entire range of cars.

GM taking over most European car makers is a shame, I was shocked when I realised that they now own Volvo as well.
What make is your new car?

I have bought a Peugeot 607 HDI 2.2 with tiptronic box and lots of toys!

I have owned many cars, including Porsche 911T, Ferrari 308GTBi (when they were real Ferrari's), lotus Escort & Sunbeam, Mini, 1.1 escort & and even a vauxhall viva 1.1 which was slower than a snail on rohypnol! I adore cars, and one of the nicest (sad term) sic was a 406 16v Mi16. i really enjoyed that car.

So this time Tracey and I have done a deal, I am buying this 607, we are also buying a people carrier (because we have one child and need 8 seats ) and I can also spend a couple of quid on something for fun. At the moment I am leaning towards something off-road like a 900ccquad or the like. She wants me to have something boring like a lotus Elise :(

Getting what you want is a great motivator. Oddly enough, my main motivator now is time, as much of it for myself as possible :)
