I recently downloaded a pop-up script that did not work.

Does anyone know where I can get a good one that does work?

I can tell you that when I hit a site with popups, popovers, popunders, or any other kind of pops, if that site isn't the only one of its kind with information I absolutely must have, I am outa there forever.

Well, I could tell you where to find these scripts, but... If you plan to be a decent and honest siteowner, then I wouldn't be doing you any favours. These scripts only work on n00bs. Genuine prospective customers treat them as a pointer to a shady trader. Genuine customers may well visit your site, go away and have a think, and then come back. Trying to trap people on your site with, "Wait, I've got another better offer but only valid if you buy now!" is a way to make sure they never, ever, return.

I've only just joined, and have just read "The Rules." This might be deleted as a "duplicate post." That would be a pity, because any points I have duplicated really need emphasizing!
