How useful is to create the forum? Is it possible to have the steady income? Or is it better to earn money though blogging?Guys, any suggestions will be appreciated.

How useful is it to create the forum?

Well, it depends on your niche. Some forums are very profitable, just like this one. Anything internet related, beauty related or even money related is easier to monetise. Whereas some other niches are harder to monetise, like one specific movie, brand or something like these.

Is it possible to have the steady income?

It is very possible to have a steady income from a forum if you're able to drive traffic unto it. The thing is, it takes much more effort maintaining a forum. You would need to constantly create topics, moderate posts and ban spammers. But aside from those things, if you can get people to be involved in your forum, you can definitely earn money from it.

Or is it better to earn money though blogging?

As I've said, managing a forum is difficult and time-consuming. Whereas, with blogging, you can just write two to three articles per week and promote it. You won't have to be there most of the time, unlike with forums, if you don't have mods, you have to stay online most of the time to keep the forum active and spam-free.

Yes, I think forums are big part of the internet, the bigger the forums the bigger the team and more time will be required.

However, it can definitely be a source of income, after planning and deciding on strategy start a forum, don't just start a forum and learn as you go. At least have an idea about the path you'll take.

Second, forums can offer a multitude of services, that blogs can't provide. Forums can have blogs, but blogs can't have forums. Just an opinion.

You may have heard that having a web community is a great way to increase sales, customer loyalty and word of mouth for your web business. In fact a web community itself, if large enough and targeting an affluent demographic (or one that advertisers like to target), has the potential to bring in revenue. Commonly people use a web forum as the centre point for a web community. However building a popular forum is no easy task and requires patience and dedication.

Well if you will build a big foum like this one be sure that you can make some good money .Because you have the control you can add banners advertisments etc

Creating the forum is long and boring process. You need to co-operate with many people and have a team, which help you to lead it, because it's impossible to control and improve without any help.
