How to Optimize Push Notification Campaign?

Freejoy

Member
Hello,

The image below shows my campaign. How would I go about optimizing it? I have increased my bid from .12 to .15 (I sure didn't those .001 clicks I read about!). But looking at the Source IDs for example, one (ID 360736860) has 2,590 impressions. Should something like that be blocked? It seems 2,590 impressions with only 1 click is significantly significant.

Any recommendations will be appreciated.

Thank you

What is there to optimize?
  • The traffic is blind and you are paying CPC?
  • No real data to work with ...
  • Your only option is to widen the net -- use a second traffic source is one possibility.
So you are paying $0.15 per click regardless?

What are your other options?
  • Browsers WITH VERSIONS
  • Location->State->Zip (postal code)(<US) are some of the attributes I can use.
  • Another thing is the creatives that you are using -- have you tested the possible variations?
  • Is the offer *that* good? It does convert some.
  • 14,000 ('shown' or so) impressions and 2 sales?
  • why are you not getting 30+ clicks from so many impressions?
  • how many are raw and unique impressions?
  • what attributes do the sales have so far?
  • you sell *people* not numbers on a report.
  • but 2 sales is limited and not conclusive data by any means.
So you are paying $0.15 per click :)

This is a New Zealand traffic.
74,744 impressions
98 clicks
0.13% conversion rate

You think I should be getting more clicks for a Push Notification Campaign? I'm not sure what kind of conversion I should be expecting.

Less than I would hope for -- that is like a banner CTR
Truthfully, I am configuring now and setting up (soon) about 10-15 push campaigns currently to test 3 or 4 CBD affiliate programs (direct affiliation) -- simultaneously. See if there is a winning combination.
I want 500 to 1000 clicks as reliable data to work with ...
  • I will have their the people behind those clicks 72%+ actually located within a 4km radius,
  • that location's; financial (tax return net income), mortgage lending data
  • along with 2016 median gross income.
  • Then the server log data: IP;timestamp;HTTP protocol; referrer; complete user-agent (os + version; browser name; version)
1000*.15 =$150.00 so $100-$200 push ad expense
The real expense is my time ...

I would hope to see 2% -- Like I say, the % is not the bottom line: the real CPC cost is.
Off the cuff, as long as you are paying (50%+) the ad costs with some conversions I would keep workin' it -- to soon to *decide* IMHO. Depends on what you have budgeted for this.

---- after i automate this maybe I will start selling IP/traffic profiling in the USA;)
I can also access US Census data to get a greater depth (but that is by census tract 2-4 per zip code -- need a tract (geolocator tract or address) ---
