Internal links are good for SEO because when search spiders land on your page and crawl through it, all pages linked to will be indexed. So when someone searches for something and all of your pages have been indexed you stand a better chance of your site being returned in the SERPs, right?

Internal links aren't great only for SEO. They increase engagement. If you link [all] related content then site visitors might want to look at the article, videos, etc which they think might interest them. A lower bounce rate means you'll get a higher ranking and your conversions might increase.

Internal links are great for traffic. This is the traffic that you want because it means that the person clicking on the link actually is interested in the topic of the link. This is something that you definitely need if you are a marketer.

Important to more than old blog posts. Consider your "About" page, "Team Page", "TOS", "Earnings Disclosure", information in your headers, sidebars, footer, any place on the site!

Navigation. Linking to similar posts. Recommending your readers to read more on related topic... etc. So, yeah, it's important to have internal links. It's also good on SEO.

Internal linking can help your old article get some traffic. If visitors land on your article titled "Home remedies for long and thick hair," and you have linked this article to your another article "hair care recipes," you can also gain visitors to this article.

Internal linking is in top factors for better SEO results.
The main goal of interlinking your blog posts is to have search engines be able to easily crawl and index all of your pages, as well as see the structure of your site. A clean structure makes it so all of your pages get indexed, which means it can match them to search queries.

Well, my case study shows internal links are most important for SEO as well as build your authority. In previous I didn't apply the method and I saw the bounce rates is high. Therefore, I applied the entrance links technique and tremendously my bounce rates are dropped down also help to rank on search engine.

internal linking among blog articles and other content is something that you can do ... spiders, prolonged sessions for users, and a tight-knit network of pages andposts. ... Don't link to the contact us page unless absolutely necessary.

Internal links on a post and a page help you to access other pages of the website through them. This will help a visitor in navigating through your blog posts.
