How Do You decide Color theme

Guys,
I've seen all sorts of colors on sites. I'm just curious what really determine the color theme of a site for you, or do you just stumble on one?

Personally, I go with colors that aren't bright and are easy on the eyes at all resolutions. My favorite color is blue as well so I try to stick close to that theme if possible.

Since your site is made up of many images, you may try changing a few of them to colors that please you and see how they look with your theme.

Usually I try to use the color that client ask me and if he doesn't have any needs I'm using any color I want

I like to use gray, orange, etc... Actually I follow the colors that is on the top in the web "fashion"

i like strog contrasts between colors for some sites and combinations of grey with white and a power-color (green,red,orange) for others

i just play around with colors until I find a color that I like to match the site
