How can you purchase a 3 letter domain?

I was wondering how can I purchase a 3 letter domain like - www.kll.com
my regular provider doesnt have a option...

Yes, you can purchase any type of domain as long as it is available. Domains range from different letter and you need just to get the one that works out best for you. There are occurrences where you will find the domain already taken. You can in such like situation look for the owner and strike a deal as to whether he or she can sell it to you. Actually, MrP is right, not all registers sell 3 letter domains... MrP, just google it and you will find the answer!

Most of the time they'll be owned and with a broker. You'll have to use someone like DomainAgents - Domain Name Marketplace & Brokerage to purchase it on the secondary market.
