Tracking ecommerce sales can be done using goals for thank you pages etc, you can create funnels and track each page too .. all popual web analytics tools like GA and gostats etc offer this.
Pageviews and % Exit are most superficial you should be more worried about Goals and bounce rate. I check GA and gostats for these too and unique visitors too.
