Define "best"?
Most questions in technology industries have answers that begin with: "It depends...", so, knowing exactly what you're asking for is paramount.
Well, by best i mean the most known and used on the market.
Shared hosting will be fine for few month. There are BlueHost, HostPaPa, HostGator, Godaddy... ect. It's just a personal preference that what provider you 'LIKE'; because they all suck!! Actually it's not the company. It's Shared hosting that sucks!
You're going to have to move to VPS hosting sooner or later when the one you LIKE start to suck. Most recommend managed VPS. But I recommend unmanaged VPS because it's so much cheaper. Here's what I recommend,

All you need to do is get a list of all the potential service providers against their benefits. You will then have a comparison of them all and thus land on the one that best suits you. Some of the things that you need to consider in this are is whether the speed and bandwidth of the package meets the one that you need.
