Very informative forum I must say.
Well I got started out in 2010 but unfortunately I gave up after losing quite a lot of money for a man like me. You know them..."Gurus". I vow never to try IM. I have grown up and no longer gullible like I was before. Recently I read a couple of testimonies online from CPA guys. I know people do make good money out this and am not looking for some get rich scheme! I am hardworking and ready to make some money. Problem is that I JUST DON'T know how. Joining this forum is the first step towards my journey at least.

Please accept this newbie.
Thanks

Welcome Aboard!

Don't think of it as losing money think of it as paying for education. Everyone who has made money has lost money sometime, whether it was keywords or they got sucked in by a guru's. I started 200 in the hole myself as my first experience with internet marketing so long ago. But looking back I'm glad it happened I learned so much from it. If nothing else then what not to do.

The first thing is attitude you need a kick ass attitude, if you think your going to lose when you step on the field you will. The first thing you should do is figure out what you like and immerse yourself in it. Use google's keyword planner and google to explore the niche. Don't worry about money to start just find a niche and study it: keywords, design, demographic, products, traffic. Once you have some ideas put your own wordpress blog together, less then 10 dollars for domain and 5/mo for hosting. Don't pay for any extras do it all yourself it's not easy but you'll have a base and be able to learn without spending a lot of cash.

There are a lot of people that can help around here so ask if you need it. The more specific the question the better the answers you'll get.

Cheers Seoeymard and Adrian.
I can't believe am getting all this info for free.

-All I did was buy "money making system" Then before I knew it, there were videos... You know those kinda Guru systems. I kept buying new products coz of the sales videos! Did whatever was asked of me and set up everything but not even 0.01 cent was ever deposited to my account.
- I was promoting clickbank products then.

Anyway enough with the ranting. Once beaten...I am here on another chapter because I know real people make money from IM.
I'm starting off with CPA programs then after I master this I can try out other stuff.
I heard 7search is a nice place to get started, what do you guys think.
My budget is $100. Its much but thats all I got for trying.
I do read a lot. Not like I got anything else to do, no job!
Anyway I really appreciate the support guys. Looking forward to hearing what you have to say :)

While I have not rolled the dice with 7search, it's a Pay per click and that is rolling the dice. I have been up 500 one day and down 300 the next day with the same ad, so it's not for the light of heart . Unless you find an Affiliate Manager that will walk you through it, but it's still scared money. If you can't afford to lose it don't do PPC.

You can still do cpa with free promotion. If you live in a big city offline is cheap print off some flyers for a scare niche (like bed bugs) and spread them across town. The one guy with the youtube content locker sounds like a good free way to get easy traffic. Find a product you would buy and put up a landing page. Most of this is in the newbie411 but it's true read it, it's free.

Honestly the guys making 12k on ppc are the guys with 10k to spend on ppc. Some are better but I'm a realist. And it really is best to master free traffic before you go the ppc route. Now if you STILL want to do PPC you'll want to find a smaller network with an affiliate manager to give you some pointers with the product, then start slow, split it 50/50 in a couple of niches, don't pick a big niche and be prepared to spend more money on your education.

Good luck

Adrian I absolutely agree with you regards free traffic, problem is most targeted traffic aint easy to come by.
I will definitely first try out free traffic and probably keep my hand off the trigger, do some more research then progress to small time ppc...
Think I need to do more research as regards free traffic.
Thanks Adrian, will keep you guys updated on whatever happens in my journey.

Yes Free traffic is time consuming and difficult at times. Think of it as starting a new job you have to put in your time before you can become manager.

Good luck

Welcome to the forum!

Free traffic and methods is exactly how I started out, making niche sites and selling Amazon/Clickbank stuff... it's true that it can take a while for the money to come in from free methods (although as you get better you will find that isn't always the case!) but it has the advantage of only costing you your time, which is an expensive thing I know, but it is also something that you can afford right now.

Once the money is there from free methods that is when I would advise trying the paid routes, if you fancy them... that way if you do lose out on paid ideas you should still have something coming in from the free methods you have already set up... wait for the funds to build again and try paid with more knowledge than last time.

My golden rule with any method or purchase?

Never, ever, spend more than you could afford to lose. That way even if it all goes horribly wrong you will still be able to eat and provide for whoever you need to.

Best of luck and keep us all posted!
Alex
