experience using gleem.io?

A popular YouTube channel that I watch is using gleam.io to get viewers more involved, I suppose since YouTube isn't nearly as interactive as a social medial like FaceBook. While I've signed up, I'm at a total loss as to how to make an experience rewarding for my traffic.

Wondering if anyone has used this (or something similar), to keep traffic or activity positive with their sites. & if so, how, because I see value in it, but am drawing a blank at what I could offer.
