Does ULR structure affect backlink value?

We were trying to get a dofollow url from mykukun.com but ended up getting one from blog.mykukun.com. Do they have same DA, PA, Metrics? Would they bring us the same value?

Also, does XXX.com/blog same as blog.xxx.com?

Sure, this affects. the first link is of the main domain and second of subdomain. The main domain-based link value much more but here blogging section subdomain is also of good authority. This might have much less traffic or views for sure.
